Do you offer custom or commercial packages?
Brett and James, dedicated members of the local fire department, have combined their commitment to service with a passion for helping families create memorable seasonal displays. Together, they have built a thriving business (www.plazalights.net) that has brightened more than 280 homes per-season in the Kansas City area.
Specializing in custom Christmas light installations, Brett and James transform ordinary homes into stunning holiday showcases while handling all the hard work from design and installation to maintenance and removal. Their love for seasonal decorating extends beyond the holidays, with beautiful fall porch and pumpkin displays that bring warmth and charm to homes throughout the fall season.

When is your service available?
We operate seasonally from early Mid September through October. Booking windows fill up quickly, so we recommend reserving your installation week as early as possible. All commercial jobs are done during normal business hours if available. The website is updated weekly when slots get sold out. Our stock of hand picked pumpkins always sell out.
Removal & Recycle at the end of the season?
Should we be home when you deliver and setup?
Yes! Removal is extra (you are paying for time and fuel). We recycle 100% of the pumpkins and straw we pick up. We partner with local firefighter owned farms; Cackling Owl Homestead in Hillsdale, Kansas or Prothe Farms in Paola, Kansas. Our decoration packages are large and start out above 200 pounds. That will fill up your dumpster fast, or hurt your back. When the season is over, we’ll come back and pick everything up — no mess, no hassle, no heavy lifting for you. Absolutely! We'd love to partner with you on larger, custom, or one-of-a-kind designs. If you have a unique vision in mind, we're happy to work with you to create a display that fits your home, business or event and style.

We proudly serve the entire Kansas City metro area, from Lawrence to Lee’s Summit and everywhere in between.
For locations outside the KC metro, an additional travel or fuel charge may apply. However, we are happy to consider out-of-area projects, so please don't hesitate to reach out. In most cases, we can accommodate your request and would love the opportunity to work with you.

Can you deliver us pumpkins earlier in September, or later in October?
How much does it cost?
Not at all! Most of our customers aren't home when we deliver and set up their fall porch display.
Imagine pulling into the driveway and being greeted by rich autumn colors, beautiful pumpkins, seasonal accents, and a warm, welcoming entrance that instantly makes you smile. It's like coming home to a little surprise designed just for you.
We handle all the setup, styling, and heavy lifting, so all you have to do is enjoy the compliments from friends, family, and neighbors. Many customers tell us their favorite moment is opening the front door and seeing their home dressed for the season for the very first time.
If you won't be home, that's perfectly fine—we'll take care of everything and leave your porch looking beautiful and ready to enjoy.

We are at the mercy of the weather, growing conditions and availability at the local wholesale farms we work with in terms of when - and for how long - we are able to get our hands on beautiful, healthy pumpkins. High Sept heat is not optimal conditions for pumpkins sitting outside.
We want you to be able to enjoy your pumpkins for weeks, so we prefer to wait until mid to late Sept, at the earliest. Additionally, installs beyond Oct 15 require additional planning on our side to ensure we secure enough pumpkins from our local wholesale farmers. If you need pumpkins in early Sept or in late October for a special event, reach out as early as possible, and we’ll do our very best to help you!
Can I change my delivery week?
Can I pick a specific day?
Delivering thousands of pumpkins throughout the Kansas City area takes a lot of planning! To keep our routes efficient and spend more time creating beautiful porch displays, we group deliveries by area and delivery week.
Sure, but only for custom jobs or good reason. If you need to change your delivery week after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible. 913-210-5448 While we can't guarantee changes, we'll do our best to accommodate your request whenever possible.
Can I cancel my order?
Do you replace my pumpkins if they Rot before Thanksgiving?
Because each porch display is custom-designed and reserved specifically for your home, all sales are final once an order has been placed.
That said, we understand that life happens and plans can change. If you have a concern about your order, please contact us as soon as possible. While we cannot guarantee changes or cancellations, we will always do our best to work with you and find a solution whenever possible.
Do you offer Mum(s)?
For the 2026 season, we have decided not to provide or deliver mums as part of our fall porch packages.
If you'd like mums incorporated into your display, the best option is to purchase them locally, select your preferred colors, and place them on your porch before your scheduled installation. Any color will do. We'll be happy to incorporate them into your design and style them as part of the overall display.
While mums are beautiful, we've found that their lifespan can vary significantly due to weather conditions. Factors such as rainfall, temperature fluctuations, and early frosts are beyond our control and can affect their appearance and longevity. To ensure the best customer experience, we've chosen to focus on creating stunning porch displays while allowing homeowners to select and care for their own mums.
This gives you complete control over the colors and varieties you love most while still enjoying a professionally designed fall porch display.
Tips for keeping your Mum(s) happy?
If desired, you can re-pot your mums into a slightly larger container with drainage holes. Mums thrive in moist, well-drained soil and appreciate a little extra room to grow.
For best results, place the pot in a saucer that is slightly larger than the container. Add water directly to the saucer, allowing the plant to absorb only what it needs. A larger saucer can help reduce how often you'll need to water.
Check your mums regularly and water as needed based on temperature, rainfall, and the condition of the plant. If the blooms or leaves begin to droop, it's usually a sign they need water.
The good news is that potted mums are low-maintenance and typically do not require fertilizer during the fall season.
No. Unfortunately, there are too many factors at play once our fresh pumpkins and straw (hay) are delivered to your home for us to be able to offer a timed guarantee. Additionally, we don't hold onto pumpkin inventory after our install period ends around Oct 15.
Yes! Cornstalks are available in select higher-priced packages and add a beautiful, classic fall look to your display. We focus on bringing you beautiful pumpkins and gourds of all shapes and sizes. Certain packages also include hay bales for added height and depth. If you’d love a custom design with cornstalks or other unique seasonal decorations, just let us know — we enjoy creating one-of-a-kind fall displays!
Are the pumpkins clean when they arrive?
Your pumpkins will arrive clean and shiny. We use a food-grade produce cleaner.
Our packages start at $395 and vary based on the size of your porch and the design you choose. Each package includes delivery, professional installation, and removal at the end of the season — so there’s nothing for you to lift, haul, or store.
